I started my consulting practice after years of working as a marketing leader in the emerging technology space.

From that experience, I came to love the high-wire energy of launching campaigns into the world. But the real fun for me was always in the foundational work:

  • Capturing the voices of industry experts

  • Peeling back layers of jargon and inside baseball

  • Decoding expert knowledge into messaging that strikes a chord

In other words: The building blocks that back up marketing efforts with valuable, unique positioning.

With that strong foundation set, I help organizations take on bigger and bolder campaigns. Before Drumbeat Editorial, a career high was launching—and serving as managing editor—for a Fortune 500 company’s first-ever technology magazine.
